Mark Trodden, Ph.D.
Dr. Mark Trodden is an author, Professor of Physics and Co-director of the Center for Particle Cosmology at the University of Pennsylvania. He works at the interface of cosmology and particle physics theory in constructing and investigating models that may shed light on the fundamental physics origins of dark matter, dark energy, the early cosmos and other physics beyond the Standard Model.
As a self-described particle cosmologist, you’ll find Mark’s work in Discover Magazine, in Scientific American and on “Cosmic Variance,” his blog to express thoughts about science and life. Mark is a Kavli Frontiers Fellow and was the recipient of the “Science and Technology Outreach Award” in 2006.
